These rights are there for your protection against people who might want to harm or hurt you. They are also there to help us get along with each other and live in peace…

That’s really all there is to it and that is Scientology. Really it’s simply about helping you and helping others. We accomplish that goal through many different aspects of Scientology. One of which is a thing called Auditing. Literally means to listen. Which is a process where someone listens to you and through that helps you work though past pain (physical or metal) and other things that might be bothering you. The other aspect of Scientology is study and doing courses. With these one gains a greater understanding and knowledge to handling any situation that might arise in your life or the lives of others.

Watching someone you love, a friend or family member, and seeing them make a very tough but correct decision or action after they have observed you making that same decision or action can be one of the most humbling and honorable things I can think of.
I recently watched as a friend of mine made a very wise and life changing decision after pondering over his observation of me make the same decision. It was inspiring to see and hear from him how he had observed me make that decision and how he knew it made my life better, would make his better and if his friend could do it so could he. As you could image this could not have made me more happy, I effected another’s life in a positive way just by doing the right things myself. And it made me wonder what other effects I can and have created in others and the lives around them.
Setting a good example is part of the Way To Happiness, and you can follow this to make not just your life happier but also others around you. Here is that inspiring precept from the Way To Happiness written by L. Ron Hubbard.
Precept #6: SET A GOOD EXAMPLE
“There are many people one influences. The influence can be good or it can be bad.
If one conducts he life to keep these recommendations, one is setting a good example.
Others around one cannot help but be influenced by this, no matter what they say.
Anyone trying to discourage you is trying to do so because they factually mean you harm or are seeking to serve their own ends. Down deep, they will respect you.
Your own survival chances will be bettered in the long run since others, influenced, will become less of a threat. There are other benefits.
Don’t discount the effect you can achieve on others simply by mentioning these things and setting a good example in your own right.”
Today is Mr. L Ron Hubbard’s birthday! Traditionally just like many other religions, Scientology honors the birth of it’s founder. Mr Hubbard was born on March 13th, 1911 in Tilden Nebraska. As a boy he traveled with his father across America.
As well as in his childhood years he became a Boy Scout and at age 13 he became the youngest Eagle Scout in American history. Then still in his youth he was provided a unique opportunity to study under a Naval Officer who studied directly under Sigmund Freud and was taught about Psychoanalysis. This is what sparked his journey and interest into answering and unraveling the questions of the mind - since many of them where left unanswered with that practice. He was granted this opportunity from his father’s then current Naval career. And so Mr. Hubbard as a child traveled with his father upon a Naval ship throughout the world. Eventually discovering and unraveling the secretes of the mind through his journeys and studies of many cultures and civilizations throughout the entire world. Ever wonder what the inside of a Church of Scientology is like? Well here is a great way to find out more about it. Below I’ve provided a video with a tour of a typical Church of Scientology with some Scientologists and their experiences at Church. Also you can check out the local Church in Pittsburgh, it’s open Tuesday - Sunday and is located on 1906 E Carson St.

I’m reading Dianetics again, I’ve read it all the way through at least one before. I’ve started reading it again and doing the course that goes along with it. It’s another great book!
Dianetics is an excellent book to first read if you don’t know anything about Scientology. It goes over the first discoveries Mr. L. Ron Hubbard found and covers the backbone from which sprang Scientology. Although Dianetics is actually a different entity than Scientology it will give you an actuate understanding of what Scientology is.
Also did you know that there are tapes that go with the book where you can listen to the founder of Scientology himself giving a lecturer and demonstration? It’s really neat to be able to hear him give you the information right from his mouth. Not to many other religions have their founder on tape, it’s rather amazing.

I was just updating this site with a new design and added some of the Scientology Basic Books and links for anyone to purchase them. While added Self Analysis and Dianetics, I was thinking back to how impressive Self Analysis really is. It’s my favorite book by far. I’ve got so much out of this one simple book and without it I would not be who I am today.
I recommend the book to anyone. You can buy it right online by clicking the link to the left. Once you get it, start reading! Trust me it will blow you away. After doing the simple processes in the book for about a week or two I started noticing a huge difference in areas of my life that where really bothering me. Namely remembering things, I’d always seemed to have a “memory problem”. I had trouble remembering simple things sometimes, things like my friend’s names, where I lived, and other stuff you should just plain know. We’ll and being in school at the time this was a big concern of mine, but after doing those simple processes I started to finally be able to remember things very clearly for the first time.
In fact on one day after class I was felting so awesome and I could remember - and actually see and ear - in my mind exactly what the professor had said at any point in the class. Wow! As you can expect I aced the next test, I could just recall exactly what the professor said about that subject and there the answer was for the test question. Very cool stuff.
So as I said, I highly recommend getting the Self Analysis book. It will change your life for the better just as it’s changed mine!
